Questions about updates

What's in the latest version of CLRTY?

Version 1.0.18 (October 10, 2026) is the current release. It includes 14 depth reads in Learn (9 advanced articles plus 5 essays that unlock at streak milestones), 23 withdrawal guides, taper plans, the Recovery Tree, urge tools like the HALT check and breathing exercises, the AI Recovery Coach (Premium), 18 milestone badges, savings and time-reclaimed tracking, private journaling, and milestone share cards.

How do I update CLRTY?

Through Google Play, the same way you installed it. If auto-update is on, Play installs new versions for you. To update by hand, open the Play Store, tap your profile picture, choose Manage apps & device, and tap Update next to CLRTY. There's nothing to sign into after an update, because CLRTY has no accounts.

Will updating CLRTY erase my streaks or journal?

No. Your logs, streaks and journal entries are stored on your phone, and an update keeps them in place. The only things that erase your data are uninstalling the app or using the reset option in Settings. If you're switching phones, use the Export button first: it saves everything to a JSON file you control, because there's no cloud copy to restore from.

Has the privacy promise changed in any version?

No. In every version listed here, what you log stays on your device, the app has no accounts, and there are no analytics or ad SDKs inside it. Since 1.0.8, the one feature that uses the internet is the optional AI Recovery Coach, and only when you open it. If a future version ever changes how data is handled, it will be stated plainly in its entry here and in the privacy policy.

Why are some version numbers missing?

Version numbers go up every time a new build is made, including builds that were only used for testing or were replaced the same day. Entries here cover the versions with changes worth knowing about. When two builds shipped close together, they're grouped under the later number, like 1.0.14 (which includes 1.0.12 and 1.0.13).

How do I report a bug or ask for a feature?

Email anchorinstallations@gmail.com. Say which version you have (Settings shows it) and what happened. You don't need to send screenshots of your logs, and please don't: your recovery data is yours.
